Heather and I are celebrating our eighth anniversary today. Earlier she ok’d a trip to the American Male Salon where I was treated to the quality grooming experience. I’ve been washed, dipped, splashed, and styled. I feel like a show poodle.

The past few days have been the most emotionally draining I’ve ever had in my brief ministry career. I was preaching on fumes this morning. I’m glad I’ve got the day off tomorrow. I’m looking forward to hanging out with my boys and doing absolutely nothing.

I’m working through Volf’s Exclusion and Embrace. I’ve heard a lot of great things about it in the last couple of years and finally got around to hitting the purchase button at Amazon.
