Good Again

I think “24″ just got good again.

Fantastic episode tonight.

Should be a strong run to the finale.

I hope so! I have the last two episodes to watch on DVR. Since the show has jumped the shark, I have been able to get through a DVR episode in about 15 minutes without missing anything worth while.—will watch the last two episodes and get back to you.

Next time you see Dusty Rush, you need to ask him about the book he and Dane were going to do together in High School.

it was good again tonight.
the ending was good with Jack kicking butt.
but the very very very end was lame.
audrey???? are you kidding.

Don’t spoil it for me - I taped last night’s episode and watched the previous week’s!

I have to say, I’m seriously concerned they are slowly ramping up to jump the shark. Wayne is totally incapacitated in a medically induced coma and back up and around running the country in an hour or so? Come on.

If you want to see how far the show has come, go back and just watch the first episode of season 1. Jack was a real guy - with a with and daughter and real family issues they were working through. He was a conflicted agent who just had to work to expose some of his fellow agents for being “on the take” and he felt bad about it.

Now he’s a cold-hearted superman with no life and no remorse. And very little reality left to hang on to!

They’ve got to turn the ship around and rescale the plot to something even remotely approaching believability - or I might as well as watch Stargate SG-1 or something!

My wife called the ending. As they were securing the nukes, I said “What’s the next tension?”, she said “He’s going to learn that Audrey is still alive and he has to rescue her”.

I paused the DVR and asked her why.

She said “the show now starts to center more on Jack, which is what the public wants”.

She’s pretty smart, that wife of mine…

Well, after Sam’s wife spoiled the ending, I finally was able to watch the episode. It was good. Even better than 24, I finally got through all of season 3 of Battlestar Galactica. This is truly the show to watch for the nerd at heart.
