I’m closing the year with a final act of self-indulgence. I can’t think of anything to post today, so I’m revisiting what I’ve posted so far. Below you’ll find my favorite posts and links from the past year. Some of them are here because I enjoyed writing them at the time. Some because I enjoyed reading them several months later. It is kind of sad when you can’t get a top ten list out of nine months of blogging, but seven is the best I could do.
Mule Chest
I’ve recently added woodworking to my list of hobbies. Here’s a mule chest my dad and I made together. I think it’s called a mule chest because you need a mule to move it.
Metropolitan Grill
Last night, Dad and I drove down to Seattle to pick up my sister and her boyfriend at the airport. It was the day after my sister’s birthday so Dad treated us to a meal at The Metropolitan Grill. It was a great evening. I don’t plan on eating again until Christmas day.
Done
Things couldn’t have gone better yesterday. What a great way to wrap up six years. Very few churches and ministers get the opportunity to separate the way Sterling Drive and I have. There are some truly great folks at SDC.
Today I’m burning CD’s of all my files off of the church computers and handing off the last bit of stuff that is on my desk.
