Went skiing at Mt. Baker today. Had a great time. Definitely enjoying a few weeks off from preaching, although it is a little weird. My Saturday nights are usually consumed with getting ready to preach the next day. Don’t really know what to do with myself right now.

Not much going on here. I was supposed to go skiing today, but the weatherman said we were going to have the wind storm of the century this morning. I just looked outside. The wind’s not blowing and I’m not skiing.

I’ve recently added woodworking to my list of hobbies. Here’s a mule chest my dad and I made together. I think it’s called a mule chest because you need a mule to move it.

Last night, Dad and I drove down to Seattle to pick up my sister and her boyfriend at the airport. It was the day after my sister’s birthday so Dad treated us to a meal at The Metropolitan Grill. It was a great evening. I don’t plan on eating again until Christmas [...]
Things couldn’t have gone better yesterday. What a great way to wrap up six years. Very few churches and ministers get the opportunity to separate the way Sterling Drive and I have. There are some truly great folks at SDC.
Today I’m burning CD’s of all my files off of the church computers [...]
