The Garnett Equipping Team has been working through Leadership Wisdom from Unlikely Voices: People of Yesterday Speak to Leaders of Today and we’re thoroughly enjoying it. At first glance, I thought it was going to be another “same content, but with much cooler emerging jargon” treatise on leadership for the next generation, but as we’ve gotten into it I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I especially recommend it if you’ve had a steady diet of Maxwellian leadership literature. Not that there’s anything wrong with Brother Maxwell’s stuff, we just need someone to give us 21 ways to keep everything he tells us about leadership in perspective.
